Halfway there

This has been an absolutely wonderful semester at the Actors Studio Drama School and now I've come to the end of my first semester of my 2nd year. I can't believe it's come to an end so quickly and that I'm halfway through with my Masters Degree. It's so surreal. I feel like I just started yesterday.

We had 4 wonderful guests this semester for "Inside the Actors Studio"; Jim Parsons, Sarah Silverman, Bryan Cranston (HEISENBURG!!) and Steve Carrell. Each guest opened my mind and inspired me deeply. They all proved to me that hard work and never giving up is what it takes to make it. They were all so wonderfully different and I loved each one so fully.

I got to work under the talented and caring Elizabeth Kemp on two scenes "Stop Kiss" by Diana Son with Kara Green and "The  Credeaux Canvas" by Keith Bunin with Paul Edwards. I fell so deeply in love with both pieces and characters.

I also was given an amazing opportunity to be in TWO directing scenes. "The Informer" by Bertolt Brecht directed by Mengxuan Zhou and "One for the Road" by Harold Pinter directed by Evan Caccioppoli. In both pieces I played young boys, the first a Hitler Youth and the second a 7 year old boy.

For festival week I performed "The Credeaux Canvas", "The Informer" and "One for the Road".

And with the end of the semester I'm happy to be able to visit my family back in Texas and rest up before gettin back into school.
